Traceability & Freshness
Fazenda Morro Alto — 'tall hill' in Portuguese — climbs a single slope in the Sul de Minas, and its name gave Cocoa Hill its own. The upper parcels ripen slower in the cooler air, building the sugars that become this lot's caramel and apricot aroma. The family reserves those rows for us each year, and we roast them as a separate, limited release.
About this product
IZH Cocoa Hill Reserve Lot is the pick of the harvest from the farm behind our Cocoa Hill: a medium-dark roast with a wonderful aroma of sweet caramel and dried apricot, an intense, full body and a deep, cocoa-rich finish. Selected from the estate's highest parcels and roasted in small batches, it offers everything the classic delivers, with an extra measure of depth and polish. For the days that call for more.
Brewing tips
Use freshly boiled water rested for a minute (90–96°C), a 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio, and grind just before you brew. Explore our step-by-step brewing guides for pourover, French press, moka pot and more.
Shipping & returns
Orders ship from our Dhaka roastery within 48 hours of roasting and arrive anywhere in Bangladesh in 2–4 working days. Shipping is free over ৳800. Pay with bKash, Nagad, card or cash on delivery. See our terms for the full policy.
About this coffee
Each season our Sul de Minas partner sets aside the best parcels from the upper slopes, and this reserve lot is where they end up. Roasted medium-dark, it opens with an aroma of sweet caramel and dried apricot, then delivers an intense, full-bodied cup that settles into deep cocoa. It shares its bones with our classic Cocoa Hill but carries noticeably more concentration — a richer body, a longer finish, a little more occasion in every pour.

Brewing Suggestions
This lot loves immersion: a French press at 1:14 with a four-minute steep gives the fullest, most velvety body. As espresso it pulls dense and syrupy with a dark chocolate finish that carries through milk. For a cleaner take, a moka pot brew diluted slightly with hot water is quietly spectacular.
