About this product
Every home brewer starts somewhere, and this is the kindest starting line we know. The French press asks for no technique beyond patience — coarse grounds, hot water, four quiet minutes, plunge — and repays it with rich, full-bodied coffee from day one. We box the brewer together with a pack of our freshly roasted coffee in the profile you choose, so the first cup happens the evening the parcel arrives.

Brewing Suggestions
Start with one part coffee to fifteen parts water — about 20 g for a 300 ml press. Pour water just off the boil, stir once, steep four minutes and plunge slowly. From there, adjust to taste: coarser and shorter for lighter cups, a minute longer for more body. It is very hard to get wrong, which is rather the point.
