Finca Santa Cruz farms terraced volcanic soil above Lake Atitlán, where morning mists off the water slow the ripening and deepen the fruit. The Méndez family has worked these slopes for four generations, and their washed lots carry the lake’s signature: chocolate first, sunshine after.

These five sealed drip sachets carry 100% roasted and ground coffee from Finca Santa Cruz beside Lake Atitlán — a medium roast where cocoa-rich depth meets a bright flick of citrus at the finish. Unfold the sachet over any mug, pour hot water through, and enjoy a genuinely single-origin cup in about two minutes. Freshly ground and sealed at our Dhaka roastery.

Brewing tips

About this coffee

Guatemalan coffee has a signature trick: chocolate depth that suddenly brightens into citrus just when you expect it to fade. This lot from Finca Santa Cruz, grown on volcanic slopes above Lake Atitlán, performs it beautifully. We roast it medium, grind and seal it into single-serve drip sachets the same day, and leave the rest to you — which amounts to unfolding two paper hangers and pouring hot water. Two minutes, one mug, no equipment, all origin.

Brewing Suggestions

Pour in three slow stages and let the bed drain fully between them — the citrus finish sharpens noticeably. Try it black first; the cocoa-to-citrus turn is the whole show. It also brews a surprisingly good iced cup over half the water and a full glass of ice.
