Traceability & Freshness
Sangu Valley Estate is our home experiment: terraced plots above the Sangu river in Bandarban where we are learning, season by season, what Bangladeshi hill-tract arabica can become. Exposing the harvest to the monsoon's humid winds - a nod to old port-warehouse coffees - swells the beans and mellows their edge into something proudly, distinctly local.
About this product
Nutty and earthy: if you like your coffee dark but not too intense, this monsoon-style reserve is for you. Grown on our experimental plots in the Bandarban hills and mellowed by the humid seasonal winds, it brews big-bodied and low in acidity with a smooth, spicy finish - now portioned into easy-pour sachets that need nothing but hot water and a cup.
Brewing tips
Use freshly boiled water rested for a minute (90–96°C), a 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio, and grind just before you brew. Explore our step-by-step brewing guides for pourover, French press, moka pot and more.

About this coffee
This is the sachet form of a coffee we are quietly proud of: a monsoon-style reserve raised on our experimental plots in the Bandarban hill tracts. Exposure to humid monsoon winds mellows the beans, trading brightness for body, and the medium-dark roast leans into that - toasted nuts, earth and gentle spice, smooth from first sip to last. Dark in character, never punishing.
Key Features
- Monsoon-style processed arabica from our Bandarban experimental lot
- Medium-dark roast: toasted nuts, earthy depth, gentle spice
- Big body and low acidity with a smooth finish
- Easy-pour sachets in packs of 5 or 10 - no equipment needed
- Roasted to order in Dhaka, packed at peak freshness
Brewing Suggestions
Rest a sachet over your cup and pour roughly 150 ml of hot water through it in slow circles, then let it drip for a minute. It takes milk graciously - the nutty depth holds its own - and works surprisingly well over ice for a smooth, dark glass.
