Traceability & Freshness
Finca El Roble, a three-generation family farm in Huila, is where Hazel Reserve begins. The farm washes and sun-dries its cherries with unhurried care, producing the clean, sweet lots that made this coffee our steadiest seller. We have bought from the family every season since our first container, and their coffee still sets the standard for our shelf.

IZH Hazel Reserve is one of our most popular coffees for the simplest reason: it is endlessly easy to reach for. A sweet arabica roasted to the darker side of medium, with warm nutty overtones, gentle chocolate and fruit in the background, and acidity kept in careful balance. Comforting rather than challenging, it is the everyday cup that still tastes considered. From a washed lot grown in Huila.
Brewing tips

Brewing Suggestions
Hazel Reserve is famously forgiving. In a French press, grind coarse and steep four minutes for a rounded, nutty cup; as a pourover at 1:15 it turns cleaner and more articulate. It also pulls a sweet, crema-rich espresso and stands up handsomely to milk in a moka pot brew.
