Traceability & Freshness
Sangu Valley Growers is our experimental partnership with farming families along the Sangu river in Bandarban, where we have been trialling hardy arabica varietals like S795 on shaded hill slopes. Each harvest is tiny and hand-picked, washed at a small shared station, and cupped obsessively back in Dhaka. Lots like this one are proof the hills can grow coffee worth taking seriously.

The result is a complex, distinctive cup with half the caffeine and none of the compromise.
Brewing tips

We take a washed S795 lot from our hill-tract partners in Bandarban, gently decaffeinate half of it, then bring the halves back together and roast them as one medium-dark batch. The cup keeps its full character — rounded, gently spiced, quietly sweet — while the caffeine drops by half. All the flavour, half the buzz.

Brewing Suggestions
Brew it exactly as you would your regular coffee — French press and Moka pot both suit its rounded body, and it makes a surprisingly good evening espresso. Because you can drink more of it, consider the 200 g pack. A late-night cup no longer has to be a negotiation.
