Finca Los Robles — the oaks — takes its name from the old hardwoods shading its coffee terraces in Huehuetenango. The Ramírez family’s dense, sweet washed lots are the only coffee we trust this dark: they keep their structure where lesser beans would simply taste burnt.

Brewing Suggestions
Pour water just off the boil in two or three stages for the fullest body, about 150 ml in total. It stands up superbly to milk and sugar if that is your style, and doubles as a very respectable iced coffee — brew strong over half the water, then top with ice.
