Bensa Highland Cooperative sits on the high ridges of Sidama, where around three hundred families tend heirloom coffee under shade trees in their own gardens. Cherry arrives at the washing station each afternoon, is sorted by hand and fermented slowly in cool mountain water — patient work that makes a blend this dependable possible.

Brewing tips

From the farm
The Bensa Highland Cooperative in Sidama, Ethiopia gathers cherry from several hundred smallholder gardens above 1,900 metres. Their meticulous washed processing gives Silver Ridge its clarity and quiet sweetness — and their reliability, year after year, is why it can be our signature.
Brewing Suggestions
As espresso: 1:2 ratio, 26–30 seconds, caramel on the nose. Moka pot and French press bring out the chocolate; a pourover leans brighter. For a household of mixed brewing habits, buy this one.
