Finca Los Robles sits among old oak stands in the Huehuetenango highlands, where the Ramírez family has farmed for three generations. Slow ripening under shade gives their washed lots unusual density and sweetness — beans that hold their nerve through our second-darkest roast.

The second darkest roast we run, and a long-time favourite for good reason. Vienna Roast delivers great depth with low acidity — bittersweet chocolate, a smoky edge and a full, dependable body that shoulders milk without flinching. It is the coffee our customers build their daily lattes around, equally at home in a moka pot or French press. From 250 g to 1 kg, whole bean or ground to your method, roasted to order in Dhaka.

Brewing tips

Vienna sits one step short of our darkest roast, which turns out to be precisely where dependability lives. Washed Huehuetenango coffee is taken deep enough for bittersweet chocolate and a smoky edge, while low acidity and a full body make it the most milk-friendly coffee we roast. Not a cup that asks for attention — simply, reliably excellent at seven in the morning.

From the farm

Grown at Finca Los Robles in Huehuetenango, where coffee ripens slowly under a canopy of old oak trees. The Ramírez family’s careful washed processing produces dense, sugar-rich beans — the structural strength a roast this dark demands.

Brewing Suggestions

Built for milk: pull it as espresso for lattes and cappuccinos, or brew strong in a moka pot and top with warm milk for the classic home version. Black drinkers should try the French press at 1:15 — the smoke softens and the chocolate stretches out.
