The Italian is built almost entirely on Fazenda Dois Irmãos’ dense patio-dried naturals from Mogiana, with just enough washed Sidama to keep the crema aromatic. The brothers claim this roast is what their grandfather’s kitchen smelled like; we are happy to take their word for it.

Our homage to the classic southern-European bar shot. The Italian Espresso Blend takes the line’s Mogiana backbone medium-dark, building a rich, persistent crema over sweet chocolate and nutty undertones, and closing with a smooth, velvety finish. Low on sharpness and high on comfort, it is made for short blacks, cappuccinos and the kind of espresso ritual that does not check its watch. Whole beans, 250 g and 1000 g packs.

Brewing tips

Brewing Suggestions

Classic parameters suit it best: 1:2 ratio, 25–28 seconds, cup pre-warmed. It shrugs off milk beautifully, so steam with confidence for cappuccinos and cortados. In a moka pot it is quite simply the blend the pot was invented for.
